The group will travel by coach to the Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool. Seating is in the Upper Circle.
Principal Conductor Domingo Hindoyan, will open the concert with music from his native Venezuela, Vigilia by Juan Bautista Plaza. This is followed by Four Last Songs by Richard Strauss, sung by Soprano, Sarah Wegener. The concert will end with Mahler’s Symphony No.1, described in the programme as “music of breathless beauty, youthful passion, gripping drama and roof-raising joy”.
