Archaeology is the study of human activity through the recovery and analysis of material culture, and as such it is an ever evolving field of study and new ideas.
We hope to bring you talks from our own knowledgeable members that reflect current finds ranging from prehistory and the recent industrial past that help illuminate our ever changing and evolving human society.

No prior knowledge is required to join this flourishing and friendly group.

Disabled parking at rear and limited ordinary parking; wheelchair accessible. Bus: number 11 from Bus Station, number 4 from University via Infirmary.

Limited car parking behind Quaker Meeting House. Accessible from the car park but there are steps at the front gate. Please take extra care when entering and exiting the car park both on foot and by car. The access is very narrow.
