Information regarding Associate Membership
If you are a current paid up member of another u3a, you may join Lancaster and Morecambe u3a as an associate member, cost £5.00 for the period up to the following 31 August.
To join Lancaster and Morecambe u3a as an associate member, please contact the Membership Secretary for a copy of the Associate Membership Form which will be sent to you via email.
At present we cannot accept electronic applications for associate membership. However, once you have joined, you can renew online in subsequent years during our annual renewal period.
An associate member cannot vote in General Meetings and cannot be a Trustee on our Committee.
Insurance
Please note: u3a public liability insurance only covers fully paid up members.
As an associate member, if you cease to be a fully paid up member of your home u3a, you will not have any public liability cover through the u3a policy, unless you renew/join as a full member with us.
