Do you enjoy a light-hearted quiz with a bit of banter in between rounds, without leaving the comfort of home? Then join us via Zoom at 2pm on the first and third Friday of each month.
Some questions you will find more difficult/easier than others, depending on your areas of interest. We encourage everyone to try their hand at presenting a round or two, whether simply reading out the questions or presenting them on PowerPoint - whatever suits you. We can give you a hand if you want to have a go, but no pressure if you prefer to just answer the questions.
Topics for rounds have included: General Knowledge, the Sciences, the Arts, pictures, Fictional families, Housekeepers, word chains, not forgetting Answer Smash - whatever people want to ask, we’ll have a go at giving answers!
We also take part in the National Online u3a Quiz on the last Wednesday of the month.
You will need to be added as a group member to receive the Zoom link which is usually sent out a day or two in advance as a reminder. Contact the Group Leader via the Members Portal for details.
