This friendly group meets on Tuesday morning for bowling at Bare Village Club. We have two greens booked solely for u3a members, throughout the season, which runs from the beginning of April to the end of September, providing it doesn't rain.
Beginners as well as more experienced players are welcome.
We ask that you arrive a little before 10am so that we can start choosing teams promptly at 10am. We choose teams by pulling numbers out of a bag, so you can play with different people and different abilities each week.
We stop for a short coffee break so that we get a chance to meet and talk to other people.
The group is mainly about enjoying the game and having fun although it is a bonus if you can play well and win.
