Come and join us to explore some famous operas, composers and performers. Each session will focus on one topic - e.g. Carmen, Turandot, Die Zauberflöte, Kurt Weill, George Gershwin, Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf - this is not an exhaustive or prescriptive list - and will include musical examples, video excerpts and even some live music.

No previous knowledge or experience is needed but there will be plenty for the more experienced as well. Information will be given on available performances, especially those transmitted to cinemas. We may be able to organise the occasional trip to a live performance going forwards.
