We held a coffee morning at the Church of the Ascension recently. This allowed members, and prospective members, to come along, have a coffee, a chat and renew their membership.

The morning was well attended with around 50 existing and and 'soon to be' members. Many members used this opportunity to renew their membership with Pauline and Sue, the membership team, working hard to make sure that forms and cheques were completed correctly.
The coffee morning volunteers, Jayne, Barbara and Amanda worked tirelessly to ensure every visitor was provided with a drink of their choice along with a good selection of biscuits. Also members to the Committee, B, Ruth and Susan attended to help with the smooth running of the event.
Existing members were happy to share their experiences and knowledge of the u3a with potential members. The event was lively, lots of chatter and everyone seemed to enjoy the morning.

Coffee mornings are run three times a year in various venues. Keep an eye out for the next one later in the year.
