We held a very successful New Members’ Meeting with 48 members attending and producing a lot of lively chatter and exchange of information and ideas. They were given information about u3a and such things as ensuring the newsletter is marked as safe and moved to their Inbox and setting up their Member’s Portal account to enable them to get an up to date Calendar and the contact details for Group Leaders.

Committee members and some group leaders were on hand to give advice and explain more about groups and it’s fair to say everyone came away happy and enthusiastic about u3a. Thank you to everyone who took part – and especially to all the members who cleared away the tables and chairs without being asked in the true u3a spirit.
