The Recorder Group had a very successful day when they went to play at Barton Road Youth and Community Centre in the morning and Chirnside House in the afternoon.

At Barton Road the group were sitting in the coffee bar, playing carols, drinking coffee and eating cake with the children and parents from the toddler group joining in with some of the carols. At Chirnside House the music was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, with lots of compliments from residents and staff. One of our members who lives there, said it was very good indeed and very enjoyable and the Recorders Group have been invited back and the group also welcomes new members.
