The Star of Bethlehem- Martin Lunn

Martin Lunn ( the astronomer with the wonderful waistcoat ) is coming to give a talk for us again. Martin is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and was Curator of Astronomy at the Yorkshire Museum for 20 years. In 1998, he was awarded an M.B.E for services to astronomy and education. About this month's talk, Martin says -
"It is a star that most people have heard of, yet we know very little about it. Was it a miracle, was it a myth, or was it a genuine historical event?" This is an an astronomers view of what the Star of Bethlehem could have been and should be just as fascinating as his previous talks for us.
