The group will travel by coach to the Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool. Ticket pricing at the Philharmonic Hall has been
altered and we will be seated in similar seats to previous concerts but the tickets are cheaper. They are split into two
blocks either side of the Upper Circle and 6 seats in the front row of the Rear Circle. You will seated with your
companions. Plenty of time has been allowed for travel and you may take something to eat and drink. Refreshments
are available at the Hall. We expect to arrive between 18:30 and 19:00.
Chief Conductor Domingo Hindoyan will hold the baton for the concert which will open with a piece by Rene Orth
Chasing Light. This is followed by Mendelssohn’s Violin Concert with soloist Clara-Juml Kang. After the interval the
orchestra will play Elgar’s Symphony No 1.

Booking Deadline: Friday 16th October 2026. Booking forms available at monthly meetings and with the newsletter.
