The sessions are led by Rachel Cousins and we explore different techniques and creative ideas using mostly water-based media. Beginners are welcome.
We start off a session with some loosening up exercises or a task which introduces the members to a new skill.
In our art sessions, members find 2 hours of art therapeutic and are often quiet and engrossed in what they are doing. We do encourage discussion and chat between each other. We also like to discuss what/ why and how they are doing and if appropriate how it makes them feel and help them resolve any issues they have with their work.
