Intrepid bowlers bowling in the frost. A beautiful sunny, though cold day. Their bowls are in the ground in front of them with a yellow jack.

Crown Green Bowls is played on Wednesdays at the Highfield Recreation Centre off Derwent Road, Lancaster.

Bowling continues throughout the year, weather permitting.

Beginners are welcome. Bowls are provided.

Parking. Bus number 10 or 18.
