This group aims to visit restaurants and pubs further afield which have a reputation as a good place to eat. Inevitably, meals will cost more but hopefully they will provide a more pleasant eating experience than the usual “pub grub”.
Join us for a relaxing meal and stimulating conversation in interesting surroundings.
It is up to members of the group to suggest and agree on a venue. A visit will almost invariably involve driving but car sharing can be sorted out. We usually go out for Saturday lunch. However, it is up to the members of the group to decide when they want to eat.
In order to reduce costs, we only meet every other month but again, that is up to the group to decide.
Our three words to describe the group:

The group is open to all members of our u3a but please contact the Group Leader as all places are pre-booked and there may be limited numbers for a particular venue.
