A group of mainly ladies dancing salsa together, happy faces and it's obvious people are really enjoying themselves.

Fancy learning to dance salsa? Like to tap your toes to the beats of Latin America? Want to relive your Cuban holiday? Fancy loosening up those hips and giving them a bit of a wiggle?

We dance to the rhythms of Latin beats: Cha-Cha-Cha, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue. We keep it gentle and limit the amount of spinning as we older dancers tend to fall over when we start turning. We dance in lines, in circles and, if we have enough people, we’ll do a bit with partners too. Anyone who feels like more spinning can add it on by themselves!

However, please wear suitable footwear, preferably dance shoes, so your foot doesn't stick to the floor causing a potential stumble or fall.

All levels welcome - bring a partner or come alone! Your leader has helped UN soldiers and police officers learn to dance, so be sure, everyone can do it! Sometimes we dance in the park!

Disabled parking at rear and limited ordinary parking; wheelchair accessible. Bus: number 11 from Bus Station, number 4 from University via Infirmary.

Limited car parking behind Quaker Meeting House. Accessible from the car park but there are steps at the front gate. Please take extra care when entering and exiting the car park both on foot and by car. The access is very narrow.
