Mathematics is an exciting and creative subject with rich historical and cultural roots. Its ubiquity in modern society is limitless, you wouldn't be reading this without it!
We get together together once a month to explore some intriguing mathematics.
What happens when you add three consecutive numbers together and why? Why are there 60 minutes in an hour and what does it have to do with the Babylonians? Why is trisecting an angle impossible with a straight edge and a pair of compasses but straightforward when you fold a piece of paper?
Easily accessible. Bus numbers: 4, 11 and X4
