What a fantastic afternoon! The leaders of Tea Dance and Happy Feet got together and organised a Summer Dance Party where we danced, tried the new dances we hadn't seen before and had a brilliant time.
There was an excellent tea.

And some unexpected visitors who demonstated a rumba for us. If you want to see the live action, have a look at our Facebook page.
Huge thanks to Sue and Hazel, Neil and Geoffrey, for organising such a wonderful event and to everyone who helped on the day to make everything run so smoothly especially Margaret, Sharon and Susan in the kitchen.
We're really hoping this will become an annual event.
And more good news for those who want to learn to dance, which is one of the best activities for us as we get older. The start of every Happy Feet session and of Tea Dance is for beginners. In addition, from July there will be a Beginners Group for Tea Dance where we can learn the sequence dances.
